something i learned in my history class: france & britain bribed italy
to join the first world war by promising them land, but
they just ended up getting their asses kicked & france & britain
had to help them with their own armies. so during the
creation of the treaty of versailles, italy was like "so, do i get my land
now?" & france & britain were like "ehhh..."
